What should I expect at my first appointment?

Prior to your first appointment, we ask that you complete an intake form and return it at least 24 hours beforehand so that we can review it thoroughly. Your initial appointment will usually take longer than a follow-up appointment, depending on the service and issues being addressed. Typically, your first chiropractic or laser appointment will take 30 minutes, while other initial appointments and assessments will take up to an hour. You will be required to pay for your appointment once it is finished, and we will issue you a receipt to submit to your insurer (if applicable). We recommend you book any follow-up appointments at this time.

How long will my appointment take?

Appointment length depends on the service and issues being addressed. Your first chiropractic or laser appointment will take 30 minutes, while other initial appointments and assessments will take up to an hour. After that, subsequent chiropractic and laser appointments will only take 15 minutes. All neuropathy appointments are about one hour, as are all nutrition consultations. We offer 30-minute, 45-minute and 60-minute massage sessions.

Do you direct bill?

We do not currently offer direct billing to private insurers. However, we will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurer.

How often will I need to be seen?

The common refrain you hear about chiropractic is once you start going you will have to keep going back. However, it is your choice to return as often as you feel is necessary. We may recommend that you return more frequently after an injury, for instance, but once you are on the mend we will discuss a treatment plan going forward that works for you. Our ultimate goal is for you to regain and maintain your health.

Do I need a referral?

You do not require a referral from a medical doctor to see any of our practitioners.

Will I need x-rays?

Dr. Bachorick will determine if x-rays are required after reviewing your history and exam findings. If you already have x-rays relevant to your appointment, please let us know where we can access them or bring them along with you.

Is chiropractic appropriate for kids?

Absolutely! We adjust our techniques according to age, and the complaint.
